Artists’ open studios 29 August – 6 September

Eden is home to many visual artists – painters, printmakers, sculptors, photographers, ceramicists, and feltmakers – who live and work in solitary studios tucked away in the countryside. During Art in Eden though, from Eden’s artists open the doors of their studios to the public, offering a rare chance to meet them at home in their working spaces, see how they work – and possibly buy some high quality art. And of course Art in Eden also gives you the chance to enjoy the landscape which inspires so much of their work.

And if YOU are an artist who lives and works in Eden district then do get in touch with as soon as possible if you’d like to take part – we’ll need to know before 12 June.

A full-colour leaflet, with images, full details, opening times and whereabouts of all 30+ artists taking part – from Alston to Threlkeld and Kirkoswald to Kirkby Stephen. There’ll also be a map so you can plan a day out touring the studios.

Art in Eden runs from Saturday 29 August to Sunday 6 September with most studios open daily from11am to 5pm.
