BBC Children in Need grants
deadline: 15 July and 15 October 2009
BBC Children in Need awards grants to projects which follow their manifesto to ‘positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK’. Disadvantages experienced by children and young people include:

• illness, distress, abuse or neglect;
• any kind of disability;
• behavioural or psychological difficulties;
• living in poverty or situations of deprivation.
