// Lakes Alive In Penrith

Lakes Alive came to Penrith on Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May with a host of free events. The highlight was 100 performers from Catalonia (Castelles de Vilafranca) building ‘human castles’ seven and eight stories high – the UK premiere of a never-to-be-forgotten spectacle. As part of a season of world-class performance and arts events in the spectacular landscapes of Cumbria, the Lake District, the Penrith event was a big success.
