Cumbria Tourism is launching an innovative ‘Overnighter’ scheme that aims to link up the online booking of attractions and accommodation, to streamline the process for visitors and boost tourism in the region.

The scheme allows visitors to book local accommodation online while visiting the website of events and attractions. Once they have selected their entertainment, visitors can make a reservation to a chosen establishment and stay in the area when they come to visit the attraction, which should help to encourage people to spend more time on their visits and bring in extra business to the region.
