New ENYAN ‘Young Arts Leaders’ Resource Now Available
ENYAN (English National Youth Arts Network) is delighted to announce the launch of a new, free online resource ‘Young Arts Leaders’ presenting the findings of the network’s research into this rapid area of development!
Following the network’s previous campaign resulting in the production of the Creative Youth Consultation & Participation Toolkit, ENYAN is now delighted to announce this extremely valuable and timely resource which aims to raise the profile of, and support the youth arts sector in, the development of leadership skills, aspiration and potential of young people within the arts and cultural industries.
This colourful and accessible resource includes practical case studies sharing learning from projects across the country, policy developments, funding opportunities, signposting to a whole host of valuable contacts & support and, importantly, a breakdown of the range of programmes and opportunities available; including; ‘Accreditation’, ‘Volunteering’, ‘Work-related Learning’, ‘Innovation & Entrepreneurship’, ‘Peer-Mentoring’, ‘Youth Voice & Influence’ and much more.
To compliment this, ‘Artsplan’ (ENYAN’s in-house professional development department) is piloting a new CPD course for professionals titled ‘Using the Arts to Develop Leadership, Aspiration and Potential’. Visit www.artswork.org.uk/artsplan for further details.
