
The Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary is an annual bursary offered to support a disabled artist working with the visual arts. The bursary is open to mid-career disabled and deaf artists who work in any field of the visual arts, for example: photography, painting, drawing, print-making, sculpture, film, video, digital, performance or live art, based in the UK and been making and showing work for over five years. It aims to provide an opportunity for artists to develop their ideas and practice without pressure to deliver a particular outcome. The bursary will be for £5,000 and it is intended to provide time, space and support for artists to work in an open-ended way. The bursary can be used to; Pay for living expenses to free up time to concentrate on the residency; buy or hire equipment; pay for materials; pay for assistant artists in order to realise a particular work.
