Off The Rails is a unique and innovative arts organisation. They create contemporary performance through collaborating with young people, older people, adults, scientists, environmentalists, educationalists; heritage, research and culture professionals. They do this to promote social change, to engage people in new debates, in community cohesion and development, to entertain, to enlighten, to develop aspiration, enhance peoples personal, social and cultural growth, to regenerate, to do something positive for the world and have fun!
I missed the beginning but loved it anyway – it had the Off The Rails stamp on it. I could be very wordy about it, but basically simple actions juxtaposed can lead to lovely complex questions…and it was a nice day too!
