Age Concern are inviting voluntary and charitable clubs for older people with a turnover of less than £50,000 per annum and whose charitable objectives are similar to those of Age UK to apply for up to £500 towards the cost of winter celebrations, outings, or one off events such as theatre trips, day outings, parties, and dinners. Application forms and guidelines can be downloaded from the Age Concern website. Because of the current postal disruption (November 2009) Age Concern are happy to receive emailed/faxed forms‚ but hard copies must be put in the post as they do need original signatures to comply with Audit Requirement.
