Carlisle Carnivale is the first festival of its kind in Carlisle. Carlisle Carnivale will take over the city centre, encompassing live music, street entertainment, community games, a market, a funfair and round out with a magical torchlight procession.
The programme will include work led by internationally renowned theatre-maker Adrian Schvarzstein, alongside the Drovers Cup, music, performance and the event’s distinctive mix of spectacle, participation and surprise.
Expect slack rope walkers, jugglers and fantastic carny performers across the City Centre as well as in our 'Biscuit Tin' performance arena - a rambunctious collection of music, performance and everything else in between.
