Bringing cinema to your doorstep

Cine North is about bringing the community together in rural areas through cinema events and by event we mean watching great films together and creating fun, social events that could include dressing up, food, music, games and other activities, perhaps inspired by the film’s themes.

We offer community venues and individuals in Yorkshire and Cumbria, Lancashire and Tees Valley a tailored package of training, technical advice, screening equipment, programming and promotional support, enabling them to screen a diverse cinema programme, chosen by and presented in partnership with local audiences.

From village halls to stately homes, festivals and arts centres, we work with partners and venues to screen a rich programme of cinema, from the latest homegrown independent films, to silver screen classics, arthouse favourites, Hollywood hits, world cinema gems and films for younger audiences.
