Our Base

Penrith Old Fire Station is based on the Hospital site in Penrith.

We host regular events including Myriad Studio and Penrith Repair Cafe, host artists in our Spare Rooms programme and have regular Artists in Residence.

Dorothy Ramsay

Dorothy Ramsay is a landscape painter working mainly in traditional oils and etchings.

Katarina Prior

Katarina Prior is an artist based in Penrith and Carlisle. Kat studied in London and acquired a degree in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College. She develops community arts projects as well as working in paint, sculpture and creative installations. Find out more at Katarinaprior.com

Richie Johnson

Richie Johnson is a photographer and videographer based in The Lake District, Cumbria. Richie regularly photographs Eden Arts projects, and creates unique and artistic videos for musicians. Find out more on his website Optical Vitamins

Tinker Clothing

Colourful, unique African print hoodies. Rosie works with beautiful fabrics to create Hoodies of all shapes and sizes, selling through festivals and events throughout the summer and online via orders. Check out their facebook page for latest stock, or orders.

Jordie Cooke

Guitarist for 8-piece band PONYLAND, Jordie uses one of the buildings spaces to work on his music, writing, composing and offering lessons to aspiring musicians.

Myriad Studio
Penrith Repair Cafe

Myriad Studio

Myriad Studio runs creative workshops which are playful, social and relaxed.

The workshops are for all ages and all abilities, you do not need any experience to attend any of the workshops.
Whether you think you are completely uncreative or are a professional artist wanting to just have a play, Myriad Studio is for you!

Each workshop is £3-£5 and refreshments can be bought from the bar.

Penrith Repair Cafe

How can we make the best use of the resources we've got on this earth? If you've got something, keep using it! However, what happens if your chair is wobbly or jumper has got a hole in – they need fixing!

Penrith Repair Cafe takes place on the second Saturday of each month, repairs are completed for donations from 'community experts'
