Eden Arts seeks Executive Director
Eden Arts is looking to appoint a dynamic and ambitious Executive Director to work alongside the Creative Director in leading the company and its dedicated team through our next stage of ambition and growth.
The role will provide strategic leadership and business direction and will lead on all managerial, financial and operational functions of the company. In close partnership with the Creative Director they will be responsible for the planning and development of the company and its projects across a wide variety of platforms.
Eden Arts is a combined arts organisation based in the landscape rich county of Cumbria. Over the last 30 years the company has made work across artforms and conceptual styles – from festivals with tens of thousands of attendees, to visual art exhibitions, outdoor cinema, intimate film projects. The company is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, and has a strong funding base that supports our creative ambitions.
Our current projects include new and significant regional developments such as The66 a region wide cultural programme directed at talent development, opening a new cultural centre in Carlisle, as well as keeping existing projects moving forward.
The main roles are:
- Oversight of financial management, reporting to the Board
- Oversight of data and project reporting
- Supporting funding applications
- Ensuring HR and policy is up to date and effective
- Inspirational leadership
- Contributing to the vision of the company's future - we are all creative
