Outdoor Arts Conference 2026
Adrian and Lakota from the Eden Arts team attended the Outdoor Arts National Conference in Cambridge at the beginning of February.
Adrian:
'It was great to attend and contribute to the national Outdoor Arts conference in Cambridge, meeting up with colleagues to celebrate and align around a coherent strategy for ensuring that the whole country benefits from the economic, social and cultural impacts that outdoor work brings to places.
Places with culture at their heart, and especially activated by festivals and events, thrive through footfall, stimulation, inspiration. Much food for thought for what we can do more of in Carlisle and Cumberland. Actually we should host the conference!
We have a great sector to deliver more in the UK, we need to keep working to make sure that all commissioners know that we are there, willing and able to deliver, turning places into great places.
